I would like to thank Mary Ellen Timm for all the info on Sylvester Sweet that I found on this website. I have been researching the 6th Wisconsin Light Artillery members. Sylvester was one of four brothers that served in this unit. I knew he moved around a lot after becoming a minister, and was having difficulty in locating his burial place. There is a stone placed in the Woodruff Cemetery, Richland County, for him with no death date. Thank you again!!!
