He is survived by three sisters, Mrs. Fred Lalonde of Washburn, Mrs. Helen Joannis, Canada, and Mrs. Lena Charboneau, Minneapolis, besides two brothers, Duncan and Simon Hayes of Canada. Also five children, Mrs. Joseph Probst, Mrs. Fred Crowley, Fred Hayes Jr., and Joseph Hayes, of Owen; and Mrs. William McGeorge.
