Irene Bartz was a patient at the Eau Claire Hospital from Monday until Thursday last week, returning to her home Friday.
Arthur Phipps and Judson helped butcher at the Harold Lavey home last Friday. Harold has been on the sick list for several days.
Elaine Pietenpol returned her teaching Monday, after a two week vacation.
Mrs. Vera Kidd and daughter, Donna, spent the weekend with the former’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Pietenpol.
Ferdinand Dahl helped butcher at the Fred Bartz home last Friday. Mrs. Arnold Garbisch helped Mrs. Bartz take care of the meat Saturday.
Melvin Smith and Lawrence Struble went to Marshfield Sunday afternoon to see Harold Smith, Lawrence returned to his home in Neillsville after spending the part week with Melvin.
Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Short and daughter, Audrey, were dinner guests at the Floyd Pietenpol home last Friday.
The young people of the neighborhood attended a dance party at the Grant town hall.
Mrs. Alice Montgomery and son, Allen, and Lydia Schlinsog spent Saturday evening at the Roland Quicker home in Granton.
Sunday dinner guests at the home of Mrs. Alice Montgomery were Mr. and Mrs. Robert Montgomery and son and Lydia Schlinsog, the latter having spent the weekend there.
