Howard, Lois (Marriage - 25 Jan. 1939)
Miss Lois Howard, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alva Howard of Grant township, and Paul Riedel of Lynn, son of Mrs. Anna Riedel, town of Lynn, were united in marriage at Zion Evangelical Lutheran parsonage at 6:30 o’clock January 25, 1939, Rev. A. H. Laesch, performing the double ring ceremony.
Mrs. John Kelly, sister of the groom and her husband of York Township attended the couple.
The bride was gowned in a navy blue street dress while her attendant wore teal blue, both wearing pink corsages.
A wedding supper at the home of the brides parents followed the ceremony, there being 20 guests.
The bride was graduated from Granton high school in 1938. Mr. Riedel having been occupied as a farmer. They will be at home after February 1 with the groom’s mother.
