At one o’clock yesterday afternoon at the Evangelical Salem Church at Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.) occurred the marriage of Miss Myrtle Wigstadt of Dorchester to Marius L. Moiland of Owen (Clark Co.), Rev. Lester Thiel officiating.
The bride wore a gown of nu-blue crepe and a white veil and carried a bouquet of roses, carnations and snapdragons. She was attended by Eleanore Jensen and June Hugoboom, both of Dorchester, Wis. The former was attired in a dress of pink crepe and Miss Hugoboom wore a gown of blue chiffon. Both carried arm bouquets.
Wm. Wigstadt of Dorchester and Lawrence Leach of Almond attended the groom.
After the ceremony a reception was held at the bride’s home, about 50 friends and relatives being present. The house was decorated with white bells and pink and blue streamers.
The newlyweds left for a wedding trip to the northern part of the state. They will make their home on the groom’s farm near Owen, Wis.
Out of town guests at the wedding were Mrs. Margaret Miolund of Owen, Mrs. Paul Wiehr and daughter, Lucille and Lawrence Leach of Almond, Wis.; Ed Wigstadt, Frank Leach, Sr. and sons, Lyle and Frank of Iola, Wis.
Their many friends wish them happiness throughout their wedded life.
