Miss Hulda A. Knecht, daughter of John Knecht of Winona, Minn., became the bride of Arthur Schuette of Colby at a quiet wedding ceremony performed at St. Martin’s Lutheran Church Parsonage at Winona, Minn., Wednesday, July 6, at 5 p.m., the Rev. Alfred Sauer reading the service.
The couple was attended by Miss Beatrice Seekamp and William Ramin, friends of the bride and bridegroom respectively. The bride was attired in a beautiful silk green dress and the bridesmaid wore a dress of pink silk. A wedding dinner was served at the home of the bride’s sister, Mrs. Henry Tulius at Winona.
Saturday evening, July 9th, a free wedding dance was given at Weidenhoeft’s pavilion, which was largely attended.
The newlyweds will make their home in Colby. The groom conducts the North Side Filling Station at Colby.
