The marriage of Miss Olive Lydia Laabs, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Laabs, Dorchester (Clark Co., Wis.), to Harold Carl Klessig, son of Mr. and Mrs. Chris Klessig, Curtiss (Clark Co.), took place at the Peace Evangelical Parsonage at Medford Tuesday, Rev. Kalwitz officiating.

Miss Fern Laabs, sister of the bride, served as maid of honor and Miss Pauline Boohr as bridesmaid. The groom was attended by his brother, William Klessig, and the brides brother, Norbert Laabs.

The bride was attired in brown chiffon velvet with hat to match and brown accessories. She carried an arm bouquet of roses and ferns. The maid of honor and bridesmaid were dressed alike in maroon chiffon velvet with hats to match and brown accessories. Both carried arm bouquets similar to the bride’s.

Following the ceremony, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s parents, for relatives and immediate friends. Covers were laid for 50 at the 5 o’clock dinner. A color scheme of fall shades was carried out in the decorations and a four piece orchestra furnished the music throughout the afternoon and at the wedding dance, which was held at Colby in the evening.

The bride is a graduate of Dorchester High School and the groom is employed as cheesemaker.

Mr. and Mrs. Klessig will make their home in Curtiss, Wis.
