Miss Helen Schaar and Lawrence Doucette made announcement this week of their marriage, which took place Monday, Feb. 6, at Waukegan, Ill. The ceremony being performed shortly after 8:00 that morning. The young couple left here (Owen, Clark Co., Wis.) Sunday and returned after their marriage Monday.
Miss Schaar for the past several years has been in the employ of the Master Package Corporation as stenographer. She was born in Owen and has made this city her home during her girlhood days. She is a likeable young lady with a large acquaintance and has been active in the social events of the younger set.
Mr. Doucette is manager of the Commonwealth Telephone Co., and came to Owen about three years ago, from Tomahawk, his home. Previous to his employment here he had been manager of the telephone exchange at Minocqua. He is a young man of good habits, well liked by those who have made his acquaintance.
The young couple have rented rooms in the Catura residence and will begin housekeeping the first of next week. Their many friends join the Enterprise in wishing them happiness and success.
