The marriage of Miss Jean Phillips, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albert Phillips, to Arnold Bakke, son of Albert Bakke, both of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.), took place at eight o’clock last Friday evening, rev. Powell of Owen, officiating.
The bride wore a gown of Fawn colored silk with hat and accessories to match. Miss Elizabeth Phillips, as bridesmaid, was dressed in a wine colored frock. The groom was attended by Norman Bakke.
Following the ceremony a reception was held for immediate relatives. The young couple will make their home on a farm north of Curtiss, Wis. Both are well and favorably known and have a host of friends who extend best wishes for a happy and prosperous married life.
