SHREVEPORT, La. -- William Thomas Hurt Jr. of Shreveport, La., died unexpectedly Aug. 23, 2006, at his home. Graveside services were held on Aug. 26, 2006, at Forest Park West Cemetery. Family received friends at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel on Aug. 25.
Tom was born Jan. 29, 1945, in Shreveport, La., to Tom and Jo Hurt. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam conflict.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Donna (Sladich), formerly of Greenwood; a daughter, Kerry Hurt; and a sister, Rosemary (Harry) Thompson.
