PIETRZAK FAMILY REUNION

On Saturday, August 5th, at the Thorp city Park, people gathered for a family reunion. All were descendants of Frank and Stella Pietrzak. They had a homestead located five miles east of Thorp in the Township of Withee. They were dairy farmers and raised seven children; Joe, Mary, Albert, Martha, Frances, Theresa and Frank Jr. All are deceased. 117 relatives attended the reunion. They came from Washington, Arizona, Florida, Maryland, Indiana, Illinois and several cities in Wisconsin.

The day was spent doing various activities. Pictures from the past were on display for viewing. We reminisced about the good old days and got caught up with the latest news. We had a delicious meal served at noon, along with polka music to enjoy and games were also played. Then pictures were taken of the different families attending.

Finally, a Mass was offered at 8:00 p.m. in memory of the deceased family members at St. Bernard-St. Hedwig Catholic Church.

The next reunion will be held in five years, 2011.
