The funeral of Clifford Dunn was held at his late home in Garden Valley (Jackson Co., Wis.) on Wednesday afternoon, and burial was in the Garden Valley Cemetery. Undertaker Kretschmer had charge of the funeral, and the sermon was preached by Rev. C.F. Klein. Mr. Dunn died early Sunday morning after a short illness of pneumonia. He had been suffering with a severe cold for several days, but was not confined to the house. Monday he and his son Lawrence were at Merrillan to consult Dr. Walker, the son being home convalescing from an illness. Pneumonia developed the next day, terminating fatally Sunday.
Clifford Dunn was born was born June 25, 1880, in the town of Garden Valley, the eldest son of Henry and Maggie Dunn, and died at his home in that town April 18, 1926, aged 45 years, 9 months and 23 days. He leaves to mourn his sudden death, his wife, five children, one son Vilas having preceded him in death a year ago, four grandchildren, and his parents, besides a host of relatives and friends.
