Tousley, Capt. Clyde Earl Twining (1889? - March 1939)
Captain Clyde Earl Twining Tousley, 50, son of Mr. and Mrs. A. M. Tousley, residents of Clark County many years ago, passed away the forepart of the month after an illness of several years. He is survived by his parents of Hollywood, and a sister, Miss Claire M. Tousley.
Mr. Tousley was engaged in banking before the World War, during which he served over seas with the 138th machine gun battalion of the 37th division, which took part in the Argonne drive. He contracted pneumonia at the front and when he recovered, served for a time on General Robert Lee Bullard’s staff. He retired about a year ago on account of ill health. He was unmarried.
Deceased was a former member of the board of governors of the New York Stock Exchange, a former partner in the firms of Cohu Bros & Co., Reimer & Co.; and Reimer, Terry & Co. he was York Chapter Sons of the American Revolutions, a member of the Society of Colonial wars, the Military Orders of Foreign Wars and the Pilgrims. He was a relative of Mrs. Linus Frank of the town of Weston.
