On June 1, at Pontiac, Ill., Miss Pearl Clouse and Mr. Louis Weaver were united in marriage.
Miss Clouse is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ira Clouse of Loyal, and Mr. Weaver is the son of Mrs. Sarah Weaver, Marshfield route 1. Rev. W. A. Dalton, pastor of the Baptist Church performed the double ring ceremony. The couple’s only attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Irvin Crow, of Pontiac.
The bride ware a silk crepe dress of robins egg blue and a shoulder corsage of mixed flowers. Mrs. Crow also wore blue.
The bride is a graduate of the local high school, rural course of Stevens Point Teachers College, and of St. Paul Bible School. The groom is a successful farmer.
Mr. and Mrs. Weaver returned last week from a wedding trip to Canada, Niagara Falls, and serveral eastern states.
On Wednesday evening a reception was given for immediate relatives at the home of the bride’s parents.
The couple will live on the farm of the groom’s mother near Nasonville.
The Loyal Tribune and other friends extend congratulations and best wishes to Mr. and Mrs. Weaver.
