Shaw, George Edward (28 Dec. 1927 - 23 April 1939)
George Edward Shaw, son of George and Clara Shaw, was born in Neillsville, December 28, 1927, and passed away at 7 o’clock Sunday morning, April 23, 1939, after a five months’ illness which he suffered patiently. His age was 11 years, three months, 25 days.
His entire life was spent in Neillsville, Wis. He was a member of the Zion Reformed Sunday school and attended North Side grade school, being in the fourth grade.
Surviving are the parents, three brothers, Louis of South Milwaukee, Clarence and Robert at home, one sister, Edna, at home, and two grandparents, Mrs. William Wedekind and Jerome Shaw, both of Neillsville, Wis.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon at 1:45 from the Shaw home and at 2 o’clock from Zion Reformed church, Rev. W. M. Bixler officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville cemetery.
Pallbearers were Louis Milton, Wayne Palmer, Gerald Palmer, Harold Potter, Warren Korth and Herbert Aspen. The honorary pallbearers were Dale Kuntz, Dick Prochazaka, Wallace Gault, Donald Anderson, Junior Shock, and Gene Parrot.
