Dix, Caroline (Marriage - *18 June 1906)*Could be off.
When John Bingin failed to report for duty at the Morgan hardware store, Monday, only a few of his intimate friends knew the reason, therefore, but when he arrived on No. 5 accompanied by a winsome young lady whom he escorted direct to the Kohlhepp residence which had been secretly furnished during the past week, all the old maids in town began to wag their tongues and the boys (full grown) gathered together all of the cowbells, saws, tin boilers, and other sweet toned musical apparatus and assisted by about twenty ladies broke the stillness of the night air with genuine honeymoon melody. Twas then that the people of Unity knew that John was married.
The people of Unity unite in welcoming to their midst Mr. Bingen and his bride who was formerly Miss Caroline Dix of Marshfield and is said to be a very estimable young lady.
The wedding took place Monday afternoon at the home of the bride in Marshfield.
