--Groelle, Ida M. (Marriage - 10 Sept. 1906)
The marriage of Miss Ida M. Groelle of this village to Mr. George Emmerson of Erie, Kansas was solemnized at the home of the bride’s parents at 8 o’clock Monday evening Sept. 10th.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. G.(Godfrey) G. Groelle, old and prominent resident of the village and is an estimable young lady who needs no introduction to most of our readers.
Mr. Emmerson possesses the requisite qualifications for a model husband and a successful businessman.
They were attended by Miss Cornelia Graves of Abbotsford, and Mr. and Mrs. O.H. Groelle of Unity. After the ceremony a wedding supper was served at the Groelle home.
We understand the young couple will make their home at Abbotsford where they will be at home after October 1st and where the groom will engage in business.
Their many friends in Unity and vicinity extend to them best wishes for a happy and prosperous journey thru life.
