Injured at McMillan

Mr. and Mrs. W. W. Colby went to Marshfield Saturday, to see their son George who was seriously injured at McMillan last week.

The accident occurred while unloading logs at the landing. He had loosened the wrapper at one end of the load and was in the act of removing the chains from the car when the wrap at the other end was loosened and several tiers of logs rolled off, catching and pinching George to the ground. It was two or three minutes before a large log which rested across his shoulders could be removed. He was unconscious when taken out and was at once taken to the hospital at Marshfield where for a time his life was despaired of.
