Gruba, Mary E. (July 31, 1931 - March 27, 2004)
Mary E. Gruba, age 72, of Stanley passed away on Saturday, March 27, 2004. Funeral services were held on Wednesday, March 31, 2004 at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church in Stanley with Father Robert Nelson officiating. Burial followed in Holy Family Cemetery, Stanley. Visitation was held on Tuesday, March 30, 2004 from 4-8 p.m. at Plombon Funeral Home with a Rosary recited at 7:00 p.m.
Mary was born on July 31, 1931 in the Town of Worden, Clark County to Ambrose and Agnes (Bajor) Gall. She grew up in the Stanley area and attended area schools. On May 26, 1951 she married Clement Gruba at St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Stanley, WI. They lived and farmed in the Town of Worden since Mary love to garden and especially her flowers. She was a member of Holy Family Parish and the Ladies Aid.
She is survived by two sons: James and Joseph of Stanley, WI; four daughters, Nancy (Pat) Snyder of Chippewa Falls, WI; Terri (Pat) Goad of Carlton, MN; Jean (William) Springer of San Antonio, TX, and Margaret Gruba of Canton, SD; plus two granddaughters: Suzie and Sarah and one brother Louis Gall of Milwaukee.
She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband Clement in 1994 and one brother Steve Gall.
