Antoinette Sciaraffa, age 92, of Chetek, WI and formerly of Thorp, WI died Saturday, January 3, 2003 (2004?) at Lakeview Medical Center, Rice Lake, WI. A private family funeral service was held on Sunday, January 4, 2004 at 9:00 a.m. at Burnham-Ours Funeral Home, Chetek, WI. She was born on November 12, 1911 in Chicago, IL to Frank and Reginalda Touzzo. She was a homemaker and in her earlier years, rode the "L Train" to her job sewing at a factory in Chicago.

She was the "Matriarch" of her family and the family was very close. She loved to "cook" and no one could top her lasagna and spaghetti sauce. She would mend clothes for her children and for her grandchildren; and was very supportive for her family. Her family was very important to her.

She is survived by one ton Tony (Irene) of Cornell; three granddaughters, Loretta (Bruce) Hetke of Chetek, Arlene (Matt) Hrdlicka of Jim Falls, Annette (Doug) Ypma of Chetek; 11 grandchildren, Jason, Bruce, Jessica, Angela, Nicole, Matthew, Quinn, Eathan, Cassandra, Sara and Chelsie; five great-great-grandchildren*, Bret, Kyleigh, Alayna, Ryann and Bruce and one sister-in-law Mickalina Pope.

(*transcriber believes this should be great-grandchildren)
