F. F. Allain, who is breaking on the C. M. St P was a guest of his parents a few days during the past week. Frank runs between LaCrosse and Milwaukee and makes his headquarters at the latter place.
The following from Unity have gone west to take in the harvest - F. D. Winters, Oren Sheldon, Myron Minett, John Oleson, Ed Raymond, Lloy (Lloyd?) Worden, H. J. Sumner, Sorend and Chris Korntved. They expect to be gone about three months.
Mrs. Lizzie Safemiester was quite seriously injured last Sunday by being thrown from a rig. She was sitting on a chair in a platform buggy when a sudden lurch precipitated her to the ground, stricking(striking) on her head and shoulders. She was quite badly bruised and shaken up.
Herman Oldenburg of the town of Brighton sold E. M. Sorenson Wednesday three very fine shropshire spring lambs, their combined weight was 235 pounds the largest weighing 90 pounds. They were dropped the latter part of April and certainly speak well of this country as a place to raise sheep - Abbotsford Clarion
