Coffin, Genevieve (Marriage - 8 May 1939)

Announcement has been received of the marriage of Miss Genevieve Coffin, Eau Claire, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. A. G. Coffin, Chili, to John Childs, son of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Childs of Eau Claire. The ceremony was performed at Waukon, Iowa, at 5:30 p.m. Monday, May 8.

They were attended by Mr. and Mrs. Allison Flynn, Eau Claire.

The bride is well and favorably known in this section of Clark County. She is a graduate of the Eau Claire High School and for the past four years has been employed by the Minnesota Amusement company as cashier.

The groom is a graduate of the Eau Claire High School and is in business with his father in the Consumers’ Fuel Company in that city. The couple will reside in Eau Claire.
