Mortl, Martin L. (6 July 1862 - 19 May 1939)

Martin L. Mortl of Tioga passed away at the Neillsville Hospital Friday afternoon at the age of 76 years, 10 months and 13 days. He had been ill for several months. Interment was made at Union Cemetery, Lincoln, Ill.; Monday.

Mr. Mortl was born at Swaak, Austria, July 6, 1862, to Mathias and Johanna (Sagmeister) Mortl and came to America 46 years ago. He had been a resident of Clark County for 15 years.

Three sons survive: Mathias, Lincoln, Ill.; John, Tioga; Emil, Lincoln. The wife and one son, Martin, preceded him in death.
