Savasta, Betty Rita (February 9, 1928 - July 16, 2004)

Betty Savasta, age 76, of Thorp, WI, passed away on July 16, 2004 at Zastrow Care Center in Gilman. She was only there for two weeks before cancer claimed her body. Betty was the second oldest daughter of Floyd and Beatrice. She was born on February 9, 1928, in Polly, WI.

Betty is survived by her brother, Travis Welch and his wife Jeanette of Cornell; her Aunt, Lorraine Dearth of Gilman; niece, Randie (Savasta) Olsen and her husband Roger of Brooklyn Park, MN; nephew, Jim Savasta and his wife Jeri of Sturgis, MI and many more nieces, nephews, and cousins.

She was preceded in death by husband, Phil; infant son, Ronnie; father, Floyd Welch; mother, Beatrice Romfoe (Welch) Herman, and sister, Geraldine Savasta and brother-in-law, Pat Savasta.

A graveside service will be held on July 31, 2004, 2:00 p.m. at Yellow River Cemetery.
