Allain, May L. (Marriage - 6 May 1908)
Miss May L. Allain and Mr. Frank E. Van Slett were united in the holy bonds of matrimony Wednesday morning at 8 o’clock. The ceremonies took place at the Catholic church in the city of Colby, the Rev. Father Schramm officiating.
The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Cora and Miss Adeline Van Slett, while the groom was supported by his brother, Louie and Charles Allain Jr. After the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the brides parents, which was attended by (a) large number of friends.
The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Allain, who are old residents of this village and is a charming young lady.
The groom is the oldest son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Van Slett of the town of Beaver and is a young man of excellent character and is held in high esteem by all who know him.
They will go to keeping house at once on their farm three miles north of Loyal.
