Frederick, Edna (Marriage - 1908)
In connection with the marriage of L. H. Mumbrue and Miss Enda Frederick as announced in last week’s issue The Waupaca Record has the following to say:
"The marriage of Lester Mumbrue, formerly of this city, to Miss Edna Frederick of Weyuwega took place at high noon today at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Frederick.
The wedding was a private one being attended only by the relatives of the contracting parties and a few intimate friends.
After a short wedding trip the young people will go to Unity to make their home where the groom is a member of the firm of Button & Mumbrue, hardware dealers.
Mr. Mumbrue is a son of Mr. and Mrs. P. H. Mumbrue of Cedar Lake and for some time was employed in the office of the Central Lumber Co. of this city before going to Unity.
The bride has been a teacher in the public schools of Unity and where the romance began which united these two lives.
We join the many friends of Mr. and Mrs. Mumbrue in extending congratulations and best wished for a happy and prosperous life."
