Skrzypek, Edward Stanley (June 16, 1935 - July 25, 2005)
Edward S. Skrzypek, age 70, of Thorp, died at the Clark County Health Care Center, in Owen, on Monday, July 25, 2005.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2005 at St. Bernard-St.Hedwig’s Catholic Church in Thorp. Father Keith Apfelbeck will officiate and burial will follow in Old St. Hedwig’s Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Thorp Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 27, 2005 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Rosary service, and at church on Thursday, from 9:30 a.m. until time of service.
Edward Stanley Skrzypek was born on June 16, 1935 in the Town of Withee, Clark County, WI the son of John and Helen (Slupski) Skrzypek. He was raised on the family farm and educated at Pineland School and at St. Hedwig’s Catholic School. Ed farmed all of his life in Clark County, and over the past several years, has operated his own custom combining business. He was a member of St. Bernard-St. Hedwig’s Catholic Church.
He is survived by one brother Raymond (Mary Ann) Skrzypek of Racine; one sister Grace Houska of Afton, MO; nieces and nephews; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be given to the Thorp Catholic School.
