Garnett, William P. (? - 22 April 1907)
The Register was in error last week when it stated that William Garnett’s death occurred at Bruce.
A. Cook, who went up to take charge of the remains informs us that he died at Birchwood, Washburn county, Tuesday April 22nd. The cause of his death being typhoid pneumonia.
Billy, as he was familiarly called by his many friends, was an upright citizen whose friends were legion.
He has been working for the Arpin Lumber Co. near Atlanta during the past six years as scaler and was one of their most efficient employees.
Besides his father, James Garnett of this village he leaves one sister, Mrs. John Yahr of Oregon, to mourn his death.
