Flood, John (? - *12 Oct. 1907)*Could be off.
John Flood, an old resident of the town of Unity passed away at his home last Saturday morning, the cause of his death being heart trouble.
Mr. Flood has owned a forty acre farm just south of the village for many years where he and his wife have lived alone and practically in reclusion. They never visited with their neighbors and while visitors were apparently welcome they were very few. Mr. Flood only left the farm on business and Mrs. Flood has not off the place for twenty-five years.
Mr. Flood was strictly honest and prompt in all his dealings and accumulated a goodly portion of worldly goods.
Besides his wife he is survived by two brothers, Charles of Ashland and Nels, whose whereabouts is not known.
The funeral was held from the Scandinavian Lutheran church Wednesday afternoon and the remains laid to rest in the Sweedish (Swedish) cemetery.
