Lueth, Elmer (16 Sep 1932 - 13 Oct 2006)

Elmer Lueth

Elmer Lueth, 74, Curtiss, died Friday Oct. 13, 2006, at St. Joseph’s Hospital Palliative care Unit.

Funeral services were held Oct. 16, at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Dorchester, Wis. Burial was in Pine Hill Cemetery, Curtiss, Wis. The Rev. Jerome Freimuth presided. Pallbearers were Jamie Jensen, Richard Lueth, Gary Lueth, Josh Lueth, John Lueth and Roy York.

Marurina/Community Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Elmer was born Sept. 16, 1932 in Curtiss to Fielder and Rose (Kristek) Lueth. He and Gladys Lauersdorf were married Jan. 31, 1953 at St. Peter Lutheran Parsonage, Dorchester, Wis. They famed together in the town of Mayville, rural Curtiss, Wis. He was a member of St. Peter Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Gladys, Curtiss, his sons, Richard (Barb) Lueth, Harshaw and Gary (Sue) Lueth, Curtiss; his mother, Rose Lueth, Colby; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; his sisters Rosella (Gene) Jansen, Neillsville and Deanna (Michael) Fanning, Woodruff; brothers Albert Lueth, Unity, Virgil (Beverly) Lueth, Spring Valley and Arnold (Lynn) Lueth, Sparta.

Elmer was preceded in death by his father and one sister.
