Returned From the West
S. F. Hause and family who disposed of their farm here a few months ago and went to seek their fortune in the west, returned Tuesday with bag and baggage from Cottage Grove, Oregon.
Sam says that he and his whole family are forever weaned from any desire to forsake Old Wisconsin, the land of "milk and honey" for any phantoms of the west.
The prices of all commodities are much higher than here and at present there is no work to be had.
