Whittlinger, Lena (1 DEC 1909)
A pretty wedding ceremony was performed last Wednesday afternoon, Dec. 1, 1909, by Justice George W. Barker, at the home of the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Whittlinger, of the town of Beaver (Clark Co., Wis.), when he united in the holy bonds of matrimony their daughter, Miss Lena, to George Bauer.
Promptly at three o’clock the bride, who was handsomely gowned in a light blue susine and attended by the Misses Jane Stowe and Esther Whittlinger, met the groom, who was attended by William and Nicholas Bauer, and an impressive ceremony performed.
The happy couple were the recipients of many beautiful, useful and ornamental presents, the bride being a resident of the town of Beaver for many years and very highly esteemed by all who knew her, while the groom is a highly respected young man of the village of Loyal, where they will make their future home.
The Gleaner extends congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Bauer.
