Bredeson, Matilda (7 MAR 1910)
Last Monday morning Miss Matilda Bredeson surprise her many friends by going to Abbotsford where she was quietly married to Mr. Alfred H. Anderson of Grand Rapids, Wis.
The ceremony, which was a pretty and most impressive one, was performed at the home of the groom’s sister, Mrs. D.J. Manning, by the Rev. J.C. Martin, pastor of the Presbyterian Church at Abbotsford, and was witnessed only by Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Manning and Mrs. Anderson, mother of the groom.
Mr. Anderson is a native of Grand Rapids and is reported to us as an exceptionally fine young man, and is a valued employee of the Soo railroad as a fireman, and is better known to his friends as "Bob".
Mrs. Anderson was born in Longwood (Clark Co., Wis.) and moved to Greenwood (Clark Co.) when only nine years old, and where she had since lived, receiving her education at the high school here. She was one of our finest young ladies and had a score of friends, all of whom extend their heartiest congratulations and join with the Gleaner in wishing them a most prosperous and happy future.
Mr. and Mrs. Anderson will visit Minneapolis and other western points on their wedding tour, returning to Abbotsford where they will make their home until after Easter, when they will reside at Grand Rapids.
