Dunn, Vilas Walter (Dec. 4, 1912 - Apr. 22, 1925)
Vilas Walter Dunn was born in Garden Valley Dec. 4, 1912, living with his parents in Garden Valley until Dec. 22, 1924, when they went to Hammond, Ind. He received injuries in auto accident on March 13, while returning from school, which eventually caused his death on April 22, being 12 years, 4 months, and 18 days of age. There remain to mourn the loss of a son and brother, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Dunn, three brothers, Lawrence, Elvin, and Lyle, and two sisters, Lila and Leona.
The remains were brought to the former home in Garden Valley where funeral services were held last Saturday afternoon, Rev. C. F. Klein officiating. Burial was in the Garden Valley cemetery.
