Eva. J. Kurasz, 91, of Neillsville died at 7:05 p.m. Friday, Nov. 10, 2006, at Memorial Home in Neillsville, Wis. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Nov. 14, at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church in Neillsville, Wis.
Visitation is from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. Monday at Buchanan Funeral Home, Neillsville, and from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. Tuesday at the church. The place of burial will be Neillsville City Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are being made by Buchanan Funeral Home.
Eva was born October 6, 1915, in Fairchild to James and Janie (Lightfoot) Durst, and married William J. Kurasz on Nov. 2, 1935. Her most recent occupation was a homemaker and farmer with her husband in the town of Weston. She moved to the city of Neillsville in 1997.
She is survived by her husband, five sons, James (Margie) Kurasz of Dubois, Wyo., Dale Kurasz of Forest Lake, Minn., Edward (Carol) Kurasz of Neillsville, Lee (Joan) Kurasz of Neillsville and Billy (Sue) Kurasz of Dubois, Wyo.; one daughter, Rosemary (Bernard) Murphey of Greenwood; three brothers, James (Martha) Durst of Neillsville, Ivan (Gertrude) Durst, of Neillsville and Raymond Durst of Fairchild; five sisters, Dorothy Sieg, Leone Scholze and Betty Marg all of Black River Falls, Vivian Schuette of Neillsville and Ella Jean Scholze of Rudolph.
She is further survived by 21 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
