Mrs. Amelia Buelow, former resident of this locality, died in Janesville, January 28,where she had lived for some time at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Hollie Moffatt.
Mrs. Buelow, whose maiden name was Amelia Markert, was born at Scranton, Pennsylvania, April 27, 1859. In 1881 she was married to Ferd. Buelow at Leland, Wis.
For some time they lived in Sauk county, and about fifteen years ago came to Clark county, renting farms and also conducting a hotel in Neillsville, Wis. Mr. Buelow died in July 1929.
Mrs. Buelow is survived by six children: William, of Neillsville; Richard, of Ingleside, Ill.; Mrs. Erschenbach, of Merrimac; Mrs. Hugh Van Horn, of this vicinity; Mrs. John Solberger, of Columbia; Mrs. Hollie Moffat, of Janesville.
The funeral was held at the Scandinavian Lutheran church in Neillsville on Friday, Rev. Motzkus of Globe, officiating.
