Moser, Mr. / Mrs. Fred (Golden - 4 Feb. 1932)
Mr. and Mrs. Fred Moser, formerly of Neillsville, celebrated their golden wedding Thursday evening Feb. 4th at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Arthur Christen, south of this village. One daughter, Mrs. F. J. Mietzke, of Toledo, Wash., and one son, Frederick, of Rockford, Ill., were not able to be present but Robert of Neillsville was present.
The following neighbors and friends attended: Mr. and Mrs. F. Christen and son, Herman: Oscar Johnson and family; Mr. and Mrs. Henry Stanley; Mr. and Mrs. H. Gerber; Mr. C. Gerber; Mr. and Mrs. J. Hefty, daughter, Bertha, and son, Fred; Mr. and Mrs.. R. Aeschbacher and sons; and Mrs. G. Maeder and son.
The living room was decorated in gold and white. A most enjoyable time was spent in visiting, singing songs and music, by Fred Moser, R. Aeschbacher, Herman Christen and Fred Mader. Although 78 years old Mr. Moser is still active in playing the violin.
A bounteous supper, contributed by all, was served at midnight.
In honor of the occasion Mr. and Mrs. Moser were presented with a nice sum in gold, also various presents and cards, after which all departed for their homes wishing them many happy years in the future.
