Larson, Ella (2 SEP 1912)
A home wedding was solemnized last Monday morning at the home of the bride’s mother, Mrs. Mary Larson, when her daughter Ella, was united in marriage to Oren Crum of Gilman, Rev. W.T. Hendren performing the ceremony. The event took place in presence of only the nearby relatives and a few friends of the bride.
The bride is one of Greenwood’s (Clark Co., Wis.) young ladies, much thought of her many friends. She graduated from our city schools in a class of five, in 1902. Since which time she has met with success as a teacher in the schools of the surrounding country and in neighboring villages. In this union the groom was taken one for a life helpmate that will make a happy and pleasant home.
The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. A. Crum of Gilman, and is a merchant of that prosperous and fast growing town, doing a general mercantile business. He is not known here, but is a respected citizen of that community.
The happy couple left immediately after the ceremony for a trip to the twin cities after which they will go to housekeeping at Gilman.
The Gleaner joins in best wishes.
