Tomkowiak, Mary H. (April 25, 1954 - October 16, 2006)

Mary H. Tomkowiak, age 52, of 514 East 10th Ave., Stanley, WI, passes away on Monday, October 16, 2006 at Our Lady of Victory Hospital, Stanley, WI.

Services were held on Thursday, October 19, 2006 at the Plombon Funeral Chapel, Stanley, WI, with Pastor James Leschensky officiating. Burial followed in the Donald Cemetery.

Mary was born April 25, 1954 in Stanley, WI, the daughter of George and Lucinda (Shufelt) Couillard. She lived in Minnesota for a short time before moving with her family to the Huron area where she grew up and attended Stanley-Boyd Schools. She was then united in marriage to Russell Wang and lived in Janesville, later moving to the Gilman area. She was united in marriage to Ronald Tomkowiak on August 20, 1982, and they resided in Stanley all of her married life. During this time Mary was employed at the Clark County Health Care Center in Owen, WI.

Mary is survived by her husband, Ronald Tomkowiak of Stanley, WI; daughter, Shannon and special friend Jake of Stanley, WI; three grandchildren: Kimberly, T. J., and Dylan; seven sisters: Edna Madlon of Jump River, WI, Kay (Rich) Joiner of Black River Falls, WI, Joanne (Gene) Everson of Westboro, WI, Janice (Curt) Harris of Babbitt, MN, Linda (Hugo) Scholze of Babbitt, MN, Minga (Mike) Cole of Tower, MN, and Bonnie (Dan) Omundson of Thorp, WI; and three brothers: Jan (Geraldine) Couillard of Gilman, WI, Jerry Couillard and special friend Cindy of Stanley, WI, and Perry Couillard and special friend Kathleen of Boyd, WI.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one son, Ronnie Wang; one sister, Arlene Muth; and three brothers: Albert, Lloyd and Addleor Couillard.

Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family with arrangements.
