Hanson, Hattie C, (June 26, 1919 - July 6, 2005)
Hattie C. Hanson, age 86, longtime resident of the Town of Worden, Clark County passed away July 6, 2005 at Our Lady of Victory Hospital, Stanley, WI.
Services were held on Saturday, July 9, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Thomas Myhre officiating. Burial followed in the Oakland Cemetery, Stanley, WI. Friends and family called from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday morning prior to service time at the church. Plombon Funeral Service assisted the family with arrangements.
Hattie was born June 26, 1919 in Juneau County, the daughter of Richard and Anna (Schmitt) Paap. As a young girl she moved with her family to the South Worden area. She attended area schools and then was united in marriage to Henry Hanson on October 9, 1940 at Epiphany Lutheran Church, Stanley, WI. They resided and farmed in the Town of Worden all of their lives. She was an active member of the Epiphany Lutheran Church, Stanley, WI and in her younger years was a member of the LWML. Hattie enjoyed her animals and spending time outside gardening.
Hattie is survived by one daughter, Diane Hanson of Stanley, WI; one brother, George (Ruth) Paap of Stanley, WI and two sisters: Edna Lauer of Prairie du Sac, WI and Florence (Homer) Thorpe of Darlington, WI and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband Henry in 1991.
