McHugh, James "Jimmie" (1870? - 1 Aug. 1939)

James McHugh, 69, passenger conductor on the main line, passed away at Rochester, Minn., August 1, following a stomach operation the Saturday previous. Burial took place in Minneapolis Saturday.

Mr. McHugh was married to Miss Ethel Bone of Merrillan, who survives. He was the congenial passenger conductor between Merrillan and Marshfield for many years and was well favorably known and highly respected by the traveling public.

About ten years ago, Mr. and Mrs. McHugh went to Minneapolis to make their home. He would have been retired from the railroad service next year.
