Pukkila, Isaac (1856 - 15 NOV 1934)
Isaac Pukkila died at his home northwest of Curtiss (Clark Co., Wis.) last Thursday after suffering for two weeks from a stroke of paralysis. He was 77 years of age and had lived near Curtiss for 20 years.
He was born in Finland and came to this country 50 years ago. He was employed in Montana for six years and spent some time in Hibbing, Minn., before coming to Curtiss to engage in farming.
His wife died six years ago and three sons and one daughter died in infancy. His only survivor is his son, John.
Funeral services were held Monday at the Finnish Church, Rev. Kuusisto of Minneapolis officiating, and interment was made at Riverside Cemetery.
