The town board has secured a tract of woodland from Wm. Flinn and all applying for aid will be given employment on the wood cutting job. Particulars may be obtained from A. L. Sparkes, chairman.
R. J. Zerbel and wife, were (in) Eau Claire visitors last Monday.
Several auto loads of our folks went to Merrilan last Saturday afternoon to hear the few minutes talk by President Hoover. A crowd gathered at the station here to see the presidential train pass.
Mr. and Mrs. Carl Wilbur and L. O. Wilbur and family spent Sunday with relatives at Altoona.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Field visited with relatives at Junction City last weekend.
