Postmaster, A. F. Hahn, went to Milwaukee Monday night for examination at the veteran’s hospital.
Mrs. Christine Repplinger arrived Tuesday from Green Bay, where she had been staying with her daughter, Mrs. G. E. Klak, and will remain here for a while with her brother, John Michael. She expects to remain here until a new renter is located on her farm.
Mauly Stuve is home from Chicago, where he has been employed for several years. He will remain for the summer.
C. E. Bollom and family of Neillsville spent Sunday with relatives here.
Rev. Russell returned from Milwaukee veterans hospital last Friday night. No active tb was discovered but gland infection was found throughout his system.
H. W. Brown and family Sundayed in Eau Claire.
Miss Haag’s brother, Walter, of Eau Claire, has been spending the week here.
The twenty-sixth annual banquet of the Alumni association is near at hand and President N. S. Fristad is starting preliminaries for the session. He is anticipating the best co-operation of all members in the event.
Mrs. Marvin and daughter, Mrs. Shaw, of Fairchild, spent Monday at the Lawrence home.
Miss Margaret Blang, and her sister, Mrs. Arthur Krause and children, came Sunday night to spend their Easter vacation with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Blang.
C. P. Olson and Angus Olson drove to Racine Saturday to bring a car belonging to their sister home. They spent a few days in the city.
Mrs. Chas. Speer, of Aberdeen, S. D. arrived Tuesday evening for a visit with her brother, E. J. Fryer and family.
Mrs. Stuve returned from Waupaca Saturday, and was called there again Wednesday by John’s illness.
