School was closed Thursday and Friday of this week for Thanksgiving vacation. Thanksgiving day is a legal holiday but Friday will be made up at a later date.
The pupils of the eighth grade, under Miss Riedler's direction, wrote some excellent Thanksgiving plays. The plays written by Dorothy Stuve, Hilda Laffe, and Neva Crandell were judged the best and were presented Wednesday afternoon as a part of the school work.
The honor roll for the last six months includes the following in order: Martha Trachsel, Annie Baumgartner, Lyle Chenoweth, Lyle Martin, Wayland Waters, Mildred Anderson, Lucille Holman, and Kenneth Newton.
Mrs. Gus Anderson, Mrs. Henry Brown, Mrs. Ernest Fryer, and Mr. Guy Crandell were recent school visitors.
