Vanderhoof, Frank W. (23 MAY 1886 - 25 DEC 1937)
Frank Winnifred Vanderhoof was born on May 23, 1886, in the town of Sherman. On Oct. 5, 1916, he married Anna Spuhler of the town of Lincoln, Wood county. Deceased was taken sick about four years ago. On September 21, 1937, he left for the hospital in Madison, for treatment. On Thursday, December 16, he developed pneumonia and passed away at 7:00 o’clock Saturday evening, aged 51 years. He leaves to mourn his loss his father, Wesley Vanderhoof, a wife, one son, Dale; two daughters, Ruby and Bernice, three brothers and two sisters, Perle and Alfred at home, Guy at Chippewa Falls; Maude (Mrs. Robert Sleyster) of Cochrane, Wis., Hazel (Mrs. Martie Hein) Chippewa Falls and a host of cousins and friends. His mother passed away May 29, 1929.
Funeral services were held in the Spencer M. E. church at 2 o’clock, Tuesday conducted by Rev. George Carver, the pastor, with interment in the cemetery just east of the Cole school.
