N. W. Pine Valley
Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Dill of Spokane, Wash., called on the Fred Ackermans Wednesday. Mrs. Dill is a niece of Fred Ackerman, the first of the Cecil Ackerman family to come here since Cecil Ackerman left here 45 years ago.
Corn is getting rip, pastures are better, but we need rain again.
The Herman Reidel family of Granton was at the Robert Bardeleben home Sunday. They took their daughter home with them. She had been staying with her cousin, Miss Velma Bardeleben.
The Hillside school opened Monday, with Miss Clara Zank as teacher. A number of improvements were made on the school buildings, to bring them more up-to-date.
