Ella Klabunde

Ella Klabunde, 91, Milaca, MN, formerly of Dorchester, died Monday Nov. 6, 2006, at Milaca Elim Home.

Funeral services were held Nov 11, at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, Dorchester, Wis. Mr. Robert Ruprich presided. Burial was in Stetsonville Public Cemetery.

Ella was born Sep 16, 1915, in the Town of Little Black, Taylor County, to Charles and Rose (Gaetz) Beyer. She and Carl Klabunde were married Jan 14, 1936.

She enjoyed the outdoors and was a full partner in the work on the family farm in the Town of Little Black. Ella had many hobbies including knitting, picture naming and unique picture quilts.

After the death of her husband, she lived with her children until entering the nursing home in Milaca, MN in March of 1999.

Ella was a member of the Dorchester Congregation of the Jehovah Witnesses.

She is survived by her children, Rosabell Barker, Merrill; Robert (Ida) Klabunde, Alice, TX; Grace Terieski, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada and Pearl (Andrew) Kooiman, Onamia, MN; 16 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and four great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl, son David, a grandchild and her brother Frederick Beyer.
