Drescher, Mr./Mrs. Arthur (25th - 16 Sept. 1939)
Sunday, September 17, 54 relatives laden with picnic baskets gathered at the farm home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Drescher, town of Grant, to remind them of their silver wedding anniversary. After a bountiful dinner a very pleasant afternoon was spent visiting and reminiscing which was followed by refreshments.
Mr. and Mrs. Drescher were united in marriage by Rev. Reiff at the American Lutheran Church, September 16, 1914. They have four children; Donald, who works in Minnesota; Vivian, teaching in Franklin School; Norman, student in River Falls state teachers college, and Arthur, Jr., at home. Donald and Norman could not be home for the happy event.
In the evening 22 more relatives who were unable to be present during the day, came to spend the evening with this worthy couple.
