Conner, Celia A. (June 25, 1911 - March 27, 2005)

Celia A. Conner 93, Gilman, formerly of Withee, died Sunday march 27, 2005 at Our Lady of Victory Hospital, Stanley. Funeral services wee at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at Nazareth Lutheran Church, Withee. Burial was in Riverside Cemetery, Withee. Reverend Bryan Anderson officiated.

Visitation was from 9:30 a.m. until time of services at the church on Tuesday. Maurina/Community Funeral Home assisted the family with arrangements.

Celia was born June 25, 1911 to Jalmer and Marie Heikkinen. Celia and Jon Conner were married July 26, 1939 in Owen, Wis. He died February 13, 1973. Celia worked on the family farm before moving to Chicago where she worked in a factory.

She was a member of Nazareth Lutheran Church.

She is survived by a sister, Sigrid Brecke of Dorchester, and a brother, Toby Heikkinen of Madison.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John, a brother Arvid, and her sisters, Ina, Jenny and Jane.
